Diploma in Optometry course gives the knowledge of basic biomedical, behavioural and clinical sciences, primarily related to vision and the eye. The course applicants are familiar with inspection and analysis of various refractive conditions and oversee optical guides, for instance, optical glasses, contact lenses, and other remedial guides.

Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing a Diploma in Optometry is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics from a recognized board of the country.
Admission Procedure
Admission is based on marks scored by candidates in the board examination. The minimum aggregate mark required is 45%.
