Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

A two-year full-time regular program B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is being offered under the recognition from NCTE, Jaipur along with the affiliation from state-level universities;

1. Two-year regular Program recognized by NCTE, JAIPUR, and affiliated to CH. CHARAN SINGH UNIVERSITY, MEERUT (Uttar Pradesh).
2. Two-year regular Program recognized by NCTE, JAIPUR and affiliated to SRI DEV SUMAN UNIVERSITY, TEHRI GARHWAL (Uttrakhand)

The Institute has trained many teachers who are spread across the country doing excellent jobs in the field of education as Nation Builders.

In view of excellent staff and physical facilities, well equipped and fully automated library, provision for extracurricular activities, a rich

tradition of a rigorous curricular transaction, and above all research activities of the faculty is one of the best amongst B.Ed. institutions.

Some highlights of the programs and activities of the Department: 

1. Instruction in all programs is arranged in Hindi, and English and teachers produced for all the stages of school Education.
2. As a unique feature, Work Experience through learning a craft has been made an integral part of teacher preparation programs. The crafts include: (Papercraft, Gardening, Wood Work, Soft Toy making, Tie & Dye, Electrical Gadgets, Music, Interior Decoration.
3. A comprehensive and continuous evaluation system is adopted to evaluate the developing teachers where due weightage is given to internal assessment.
4. A lot of emphases is given to the personality development of the student teachers: Co-curricular activities & games- sports are integral components of teacher preparation programs.
5. Department produces and publishes material useful for teachers and teacher educators.
6. Organizes professional development programs for teachers, teacher's educators, educational administrators, curriculum developers, and others.

Course Duration

Two Years full-time and regular B.Ed Degree.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed. Admission In Chaudhary Charan Singh University MEERUT (Uttar Pradesh).

The candidate (Gen / OBC) must have passed Graduation or Post Graduation degree with a minimum of 50% in marks in any discipline from any recognized university. SC/ST must have passed Graduation or Post Graduation degree only. All have to give the combined entrance exam of the university.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed Admission in Sri Dev Suman Uttrakhand University TEHRI GARHWAL (Uttrakhand)

The candidate (Gen / OBC) must have passed Graduation or Post Graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline from a recognized university. SC/ST must have passed Graduation or Post Graduation degree with 45%. Management seats are also there in Sri Dev Suman Uttrakhand University, Tehri. Garhwal (Uttrakhand)

Admission Procedure 

Admission to this course is done through Management Seats / Counseling and Combined Entrance Examination conducted by the university.
